An authentic and informative health show ‘Dr B-Show’ by a medical professional, Dr S Bakhtiar Choudhary set to hit the small screen from 16th February on HMTV

Hyderabad, February 7th, 2014: An army doctor, eminent Sports Medicine Specialist & Social activist - Dr Bakhtiar Choudhary has always been in the forefront to educate people on health issues and had taken the cudgel to highlight social causes. Recognising the dearth of quality health shows on TV channels, Dr Bakhtiar Choudhary has taken the initiative to launch a one of its kind educative TV Health Show - ‘Dr B Show’, hosted by a Medical Professional for the first time in India. ‘Dr B Show’ will present information related to health in a perspective that matters and interests the viewers. Using his professional knowledge he will present the show in a simple and lucid way with no biases and motives.
According to Dr Choudhary, world is facing tremendous burden of disease today, India has become centre of excellence for all serious diseases like Hypertension, Diabetes, Heart disease and Cancer. Though lot more information on health is available from internet, Google, magazines and news papers at the finger tip today; the explosion in information has only confused the layman. Everybody advises on health issues and people pay more attention to electronic gadgets than health. This exclusive TV show is designed to create in-depth awareness and dispel the myths amongst the population.
This is the first time in India, an experienced Doctor himself is anchoring the programme. Dr B will detail and demonstrate each topic using live specimens, multimedia and animations. He will also invite the subject expert, pose the right questions and interpret it to the viewers. The Guest invitee will be a reputed expert on the subject.
This 30 minute show will be hosted at 11.30 am on Sunday’s, beginning with February 16th 2014, on HMTV. Post telecast, every show will be uploaded on YouTube and converted into DVD to be released in the market later.
Dr Bakhtiar Choudhary has tremendous experience and exposure in conducting shows and providing health information with more than 460 TV programmes to his credit, aired on Discovery channel to almost all channels of India. Recent TV ratings have endorsed him with more than 500,000 followers. He has contributed more than 700 articles and reviews in major newspapers and magazines of the country, with more than 1.2 crores readers having read his work.
Dr Bakhtiar discovered four new diseases and was honored by many National awards.
He is a professional painter, professional photographer, expert in horticulture, contributed a lot to this country as doctor, soldier, sports personality and now as a health anchor to hold this show.
