The Conclusion will release in more than 800 Screens all over North America (USA, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America).
We are making arrangements to screen this gigantic film in gigantic screens. A true IMAX format film will be released in about 30 to 50 IMAX locations across USA. Once confirmed IMAX locations will be announced soon. Apart from IMAX we are planning a wider release in PLF screens like Cinemark XD, Regal RPX, AMC Dolby and BigD screens. Bahubali 2 will be the first Indian film ever to release in these many IMAX and Large format screens.
After setting new benchmarks for Indian films with the towering box-office success across the globe with the first part, expectations on the sequel have reached sky high. The first part amassed around $9 Million including all languages in North America and we are confident that the sequel, considering the hype and hysteria surrounding it and the mammoth release, will emerge as the highest grossing Indian film surpassing various Bollywood biggies.
The recently released swashbuckling trailer clocked a record-smashing 100+ Million views in YouTube in one week and counting., making it the most viewed trailer of Indian cinema. The commendable trailer has phenomenally augmented the buzz on the film.
Arka Media Works, the production house behind this magnum opus, is ensuring that audience get a better viewing experience with the sequel. The film is being digitally remastered into IMAX format. Directed by hitmaker SS Rajamouli, the Baahubali franchise features an ensemble cast in the form of Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, Tamannah and Ramya Krishna.
The film is gearing up to hit the screens worldwide on Friday April 28th with premieres in North America on Thursday April 27th.
