Malayalam film 'CU Soon', starring 'Trance' actor Fahadh Faasil in the leading role, will stream on Amazon Prime Video from September 1. The news is that Kamal Haasan has unveiled its trailer.
"Dearest @maheshNrayan #FahadhFaasil and CU Soon team, wishing you all the best for the premiere of #CUSoonOnPrime on September 1 on @PrimeVideoIN (sic)," Kamal said, releasing the trailer.
The film tells the tale of a software engineer based in Kerala. He goes on a searching spree to help his Dubai-based cousin find his missing fiancee, who recently left behind a suicide note. "This feature film is unique for being shot with a phone in a controlled and restricted environment during the lockdown," the makers say. “Think you know everything about someone? Think again," the makers add, teasing the audience.
Also featuring Roshan Mathew and Darshana Rajendran, the entertainer is directed by Mahesh Narayanan (who is also its editor). With cinematography by Sabin Uralikandi, 'CU Soon' is touted to be a unique thriller coming with gripping moments.
