Hyderabad: Sep,26th 2020: The third edition of Manappuram Mrs South India is scheduled to be organised at SAJ Earth Resort, Kochi, Kerala, on 30th September.
At least eight women from the four South Indian states, such as Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana, are expected to participate in the prestigious contest. The winner of Mrs Telangana India South, Kajal Rawtani, will represent the state of Telangana in the contest.
The contestants from outside the state of Kerala will participate in the event virtually through the digital platform which will be arranged by the organiser for the contest. This is the first time a beauty event is happening in the country since the Covid-19 lockdown.
In the contest, not only the physical beauty of the contestants is gauged, but also their intelligence, talents and social commitment are also measured. Many acclaimed personalities in the fashion and modelling industry will be present at the judging panel of the contest.
The traditional saree round and red gown round are the two main rounds in the contest. The online grooming session of the program has begun on 23re September. The session is handled by a team of experts in the industry.
Apart from the Mrs South India, Mrs South India first runner-up and the Mrs South India second runner-up titles, the Mrs Personality, Mrs Ramp Walk, Mrs Talent, Mrs Humaneness, Mrs Glamorous Look, Mrs Viewers’ Choice, and the Mrs Social Media titles are awarded.
The winners of the contest will receive the golden crowns designed by Parakkat Jewellers. Manappuram Finance Limited is the main partners of the event, organised by Pegasus – which has around 20-year experience in the field of fashion. DQ and SCAAS are other main partners of the event. SAJ Earth Resort and Convention Center and Medimix are the powered by partners.
It is a proud moment. Pegasus is the first organiser which has organised a beauty contest excluding the infamous bikini round. The company has carved a unique position in the fashion industry with its values.
Miss South India, Miss Queen of India, Miss Asia and Miss Glam World are the other main beauty contest brands of the company. The contest is conducted to showcase the rich culture of this part of the country and to promote tourism.
