Hyderabad, 09th November 2020: In keeping with the festive spirit, Ola – India’s largest mobility platform and one of the world’s largest ride-hailing companies – today announced a Diwali contest ‘SHUBHARAM’ for its driver partners across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. The contest is aimed at enabling the partners to win exciting prizes during the festive season and also encourage them to give in their best to the customers.
The 14-day long contest commenced on 2nd of November and will end on 15th of November. During this period, the Driver-partners with the maximum number of bookings will be eligible to participate in the contest and the top 17,000 lucky winners will get exciting prizes such as Gold coins, Smartphones, Speakers, Watches and gift coupons.
Speaking on this launch, Ola Spokesperson, said, “We are excited to celebrate the festival of lights with our driver partners through this contest. During these festive times we wanted to spread joy and happiness among our driver partner community and hence SHUBHARAMBH was born. Diwali also signifies hope and what better way to keep our drivers engaged by spreading the festive cheer.”
The contest is based on the maximum and minimum number of bookings clocked by the driver partners. There are three segments under which the driver partners have been placed. The parameter for the number of bookings is set by the company and is communicated to the driver community through various channels. Given Ola’s huge community of drivers, the company has also introduced various prize segments for the contest.
Under the first segment, the Top 50 partners have an opportunity to win Gold coins worth Rs 11000 while the top 100 partners can win Smart watches worth Rs 5999. The top 200 partners can aim for wireless earphones worth Rs 4999, whereas top 300 partners can possibly win speakers worth Rs 2999. For the top 500 partners, Big Bazaar coupons worth Rs 500 are there for the taking.
The driver partners can apply for the contest through an Ola app in which they will receive SMS and in-app notifications
