Finally this film is coming to the screen?
Yes, this film was to release before ‘Premam’, but it got delayed because of the shoot of the Tamil version. I am glad that the film is releasing and more happy that I got to be a part of this project.
You are working with A R Rahman for the second time?
We worked in ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and this is my second film. Its an honour to get to work with this legend. Music is is the biggest highlight of this movie.
What is the film all about?
I play the role of a guy next door. Here I will be seen as a youngster in two contrasting situation. First half will seem like a extension of ‘Ye Maya Chesave’, second half is like a suspense thriller. This young man bails his girl in such a situation, therefore the film has been given this title.
Tell us about your experience working with Gautham Menon?
He is a great director. He has created such characters who will easily connect with the audience. After seeing this film, I am confident that audience will want to see me in action films as well. The action in this film is something that you will love. I also feel that with this film I have matured as an actor.
When will you foray into Kollywood?
I wanted to be a part of the Tamil version of Saahasam Swasaga Sagipo. But that did not happen as plans were already in place. I want to do a Tamil film next year. Tamil stars are coming to Tollywood and we should go to Kollywood.
Tell us about your wedding?
Akhil will get married first and his wedding will happen in Italy. My wedding will happen during mid 2017. All plans are in place.
Tell us about your future projects?
A new film under the director of Kalyan Krishna will be launched tomorrow. The story is fresh and not a remake of a Punjabi film. Also there was rumours that I will act in the remake of ‘Hello Brother’. I won’t be doing any such thing as I cannot do this kind of acting.
