Anil Ravipudi is currently directing 'F3', which stars Venkatesh and Varun Tej in the lead. In his latest interview marking his birthday (November 23), the filmmaker talks about the movie, the characters played by Venkatesh and Varun Tej, his movie with Nandamuri Balakrishna, and more.
Had 'F3' been released for Sankranthi 2022, it would have been a hat-trick for me. Since big movies ('Radhe Shyam' and 'Bheemla Nayak') are scheduled to be released for Sankranthi, we have decided on a February release.
'F3' is going to be a laugh riot. Sunil and Murali Sharma have got interesting characters.
Eighty percent of the shoot is already over. Two songs are yet to be shot. And some talkie part is pending. By December, the talkie part will be completed.
My characters are inspired by the people I observe in real life. There is a unique, relatable track in 'F3'. The family audience will be able to relate to the emotions in 'F3'. If 'F2' could be made successfully, it is because of the understanding between Venkatesh garu and Varun Tej.
Venkatesh garu recently watched the first half of 'F3'. He said that not just him, but everyone else in the movie has nailed it. His character is going to be a highlight of 'F3'. Venkatesh garu suffers from night-blindness in the movie. Varun Tej has a stammering problem in the movie. But their health problems are not prominent.
'F3' has got pan-India content. For now, I am happy to be doing Telugu-only movies. If I have to go pan-India, I will have to write suitable stories.
My film with Nandamuri Balakrishna garu is not a full-fledged entertainer. And it's a fresh subject, it is not 'Rama Rao Garu'. I am working on the script. From January next year, I will be totally on it. The film will go on the floors in June or July.
