‘Vasul Raja’ starring Navdeep and Ritu Barmecha as lead pair and Srihari in key role was launched today at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. ‘Siddam’ fame Karthikeya Gopala Krishna is the director of this film. Battula Rathan Pandey and Mahankali Diwakar are jointly producing it on B M Studio banner with music by Chinni Charan. Erasu Pratap Reddy tapped the clap board for the muhurat shot while Lakshmi Prasanna, Manchu Manoj and Taapsee switched on the camera. The muhurat shot was directed by the director Karthikeya Gopala Krishna. Director Krish also attended the film launch event.

Later at a press meet Navdeep said, “I’ve not done any mass characters so far in my career. However, in this film I’m doing a full-fledged mass role and I hope this film will give me a good break. The audience will see my high energy levels in this film. Srihari garu is playing a very good role. His role is very vital in the film. We will continue the shooting for another 10 days from today.”

Srihari, Ritu Barmecha, dialogue writer Rama Swamy, Satyam Rajesh and producer Diwakar also spoke in the press meet and opined that they are coming up with a good script.
