Art for Concern, the affordable show of Indian art, will be held on the 23rd & 24th of November 2017 at the Park Hyatt Hyderabad, Salon II & III, Road No. 2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Organised by Secure Giving Events, the latest edition of the show promises to be an aesthetically rich event for avid art collectors in the city.

A fundraising initiative at its core, Art for Concern was initiated in 1998 and has carved a niche for itself by displaying the works of both, established as well as upcoming artists in the field of modern & contemporary art. Around 63 artworks of well-known Indian artists such as T. Vaikuntam, K G Subramanyan, Achuthan Kudallur, Ram Kumar & many more will be on display and proceeds from the show will go towards supporting grassroots programmes in the areas of health, education and community development.

Anjana Khanna, Head of Art for Concern says, "Every year we are both surprised and touched by the number of people who attend our exhibition. Our patrons not only have an opportunity to add to their art collections and select from the finest and most authentic works of Indian art, but also benefit underprivileged communities while doing so"

And while the support of regular patrons is invaluable, so is that of the participating artists - an integral element that has enabled the longevity of the show. Many have been involved with Art for Concern from its inception and are happy to participate for a charitable cause. The exhibition supports upcoming NGOs aiming to make the disadvantaged self-reliant and enable them to lead a life of dignity.
