The objective of the show is to lay strong foundation for bilateral relationships between two countries India and Korea.

Much to the delight of the audience, the show turned Kitchen utensils into musical and entertained them fully. They bursted out laughing all through the one and half hour performance.

The show without dialogues was so hit with local audience. I have enjoyed to the core, said Kalpana who came to watch along with her family members.

Nanta has been running successfully since October 1997 and this October completes 20years. It is the most popular show ever in Korea. It also has achieved outstanding international success having performed on Broadway and toured widely around the US and the rest of the world. It receives rave reviews wherever it performs and quickly sells out.

Without a dialogue, but through rhythmic banging of knives, pots and pans, NANTA (or Cookin' as it was known in the States) tells the story of four crazy chefs who have been set the impossible task of making a wedding banquet in just one hour. What follows is pure musical mayhem, and they even manage to fit in a love story! The show is based on Korea's traditional garak (rhythms) of Samulnori (traditional Korean percussion quartet), and can be enjoyed by all the family.

The traditional rhythm and pulsating beat of Korea are now gaining global recognition for distinctive energy. NANTA combines the rhythm and beat of Korea with contemporary music to create a unique but familiar sound for international audiences. Unlike a typical stage performance, NANTA is performed with sounds and movements alone, without any dialogue. As a result, any language barrier with the audience is at once overcome, allowing NANTA to transcend any differences in cultural background and language, for the sheer entertainment of people from every country of the world.

Three Chefs start their regular work day, when the manager brings his little troublemaker nephew and demands that the NANTA chefs teach him how to cook. The manager orders the chefs to prepare dishes for an unexpected wedding reception. Savory smells spread all over the kitchen and the smiley faces of the hilarious chefs unite the stage and the audience. Only one hour to go before the party starts! Is it possible for the chefs to complete the preparations in time for the wedding party? Non- stop action, laughter and rhythmic beating to follow!

Name of Artists/performers:

HWANGYOHAN - OVERBEARING, MANAGER- For the 6 o'clock wedding party, the Manager keeps pushing the chefs to prepare the dishes on time. The Manager also brings his Nephew to the kitchen and has the Chefs give him cooking lessons.

KO CHANGHWAN - OBEDIENT LEADER,HEAD CHEF- Sometimes yelling out orders at other Chefs, the Head Chef is demanding but also understanding. During the chopping board scene, the Head Chef shows off his remarkable knife-handling skills!

NA JUNSEOK - TOUGH GUY WITH MUSCULAR BUILD - Sexy Guy demonstrates his amazing physical abilities with martial arts manoeuvre, which all greatly impress the Sous-Chef.

HYUN JUNGHWAN - The trouble maker Nephew - The Manager brings his troublesome Nephew to the kitchen, where he is constantly in the way, and creates one mess after another. However, he does come through in the end and plays an important role in preparing the wedding cake.

YUN HYEJIN - Sexy Sous chef - The one and only independent female in the NANTA kitchen, is the sexy and wild Sous-Chef. She is especially energetic, but almost out of control at times. The Sous-Chef and the Sexy Guy make a perfect couple, but the Nephew gets on her nerves by continuously interfering with the preparations.

The show has universal appeal and people of all ages enjoy it very much informed the organisers.

It will be a theatrical delight by a group of Korean Artists. The musical has a simple back story of three cooks attempting to finish preparing a wedding banquet within a strict time limit while the manager installs his incompetent nephew among the kitchen staff. The performance is almost completely non-verbal. The very few words which are spoken are mostly in English.

The performance dramatizes reckless rhythms and percussion sounds with a comical twist. Kitchen utensils are transformed into musical instruments and the audience is entertained with jaw-dropping performances as the NANTA chefs busily cook away comically on stage.

The highlight of the show is the "Finale" where the cast beat on drums and confuse the audience with the sound of the drums and their pounding heartbeats. Nanta toured 57 countries, 313 cities and entertained more than one crore audiences, regardless of age.
