The erstwhile golden hand Dil Raju has been reeling under pressure after success of ‘Aakasamantha’.  His subsequent productions under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner have been box office flops.  Naga Chaitanya’s debut film ‘Josh’ did not reach Nag fans’ expectations.  The next flop film was Varun Sandesh’s ‘Maro Charitra’.  Though he gave a super duper hit through Varun in ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’, the results were quite opposite in ‘Maro Charitra’.  Now, after seeing Ram’s success in Sreenu Vaitla’s ‘Ready’, Dil Raju is betting on him to break his flop run.

So with MM Keeravani’s music already a hit, this movie ‘Rama Rama Krishna Krishna’ is expected to capture the audience.  Incidentally this is Keeravani’s 200th film but 1st under Dil Raju’s production, and he appears to have already given his best seeing the results of the audio release.

The movie that starts with village background also has enough influence of the city.  The dream child of a family named as Rama by his mother and Krishna by his father ends up having qualities of both the characters.  Rajahmundry occupies the major part of the film and at the same time there is enough influence of cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad.  It will be interesting to note that in one of the shooting scenes Mumbai police had even gone to the extent of arresting the characters in the game including Ram thinking that there was a crime taking place while the hero was chased by others at Nariman Point in Mumbai only to learn later that everything was for a film.  Though it is the second film for director Srivaas, one can expect a meaningful direction based on his success in the first film Gopichand-Anushka starrer ‘Lakshyam’.

Ram, who created records with his debut film ‘Devadasu’ which ran 175 days in 17 centers, incidentally it was also Ileana’s debut film.   After this success he delivered only one notable film which is ‘Ready’ but all his other films are “No Favourites”.  The hero who exuberates enviable energy whenever it comes to dances is now betting heavily on this movie to establish a place in Tollywood.

The pure Telugu girl ‘Avakai Biriyani’ fame Bindu Madhavi and yet another south promise, ‘Leader’ fame Priya Anand have glorified the female component of the film.  Action King Arjun who was in hibernation from Telugu film industry for some time has surfaced again doing a very important role giving turning point to the film.  Gracy Singh, who did good roles in Nagarjuna’s ‘Santhosham’ and Mohan Babu’s ‘Tappuchesi Pappukoodu’ is also playing a key role in this film.

Dialogues by Ratnam and cinematography by Sekhar V Joseph also promised to be giving a boost to the film.  To ease his load Dil Raju has joined hands with his friend Sirish and brother Lakshman for producing 'Rama Rama Krishna Krishna' which is due for release on May 12th.  With the entire team except MM Keeravani trying to regain the lost ground, it is widely expected that all-out efforts would provide the tickets worth of entertainment. Let’s hope that Dil Raju regains his “Golden Hand”.
