The hero who is sure of assuring a minimum guarantee for the money investor has once again thrown his hat into the ring, this time with a title that is still fresh in the minds of the Telugu people.  Yes! It was Rajendra Prasad who gave a classic comedy under the title ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ through the then super director Jandhyala. Now it is Veerabhadra who is betting heavily by selecting the same title through a promising hero Allari Naresh.  He has also picked relatively a new face Ritu Barmecha to do the female lead.

Veerabhadram further succeeded in convincing Anitha, the ‘Nuvvu Nenu’ fame to shed her dress and sport a bikini scene.  Srihari, who now a days has found a taste in doing supporting roles has joined hands with Naresh in entertaining the audience.  It is claimed that the scenes involving both of them are the highlights of the entire film.

For a film with comedy backdrop the dialogue plays a vital role and Sridhar Sepena has taken over that department.  The producer Anil Sunkara has ventured on this low budget film which was mostly pictured in Hyderabad and Vizag with some scenes in Bangkok.  Well, the plot is like this.  Allari Naresh is a most eligible bachelor looking for a suitable match.  As the days pass, by he fails to get one and his growing age is a matter of concern.  So Naresh ventures on fixing a match and the result is the comedy.  Thus the tagline of the movie also is ‘Match Fixing’.

To know the weight of comedy on the other side of Naresh, it’s just enough if we mention the names.  They are comedy king Brahmanandam, Jayaprakash Reddy, MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagawan, Dharmavarapu Subrahmaniam, Ahuti Prasad, Vennela Krishore, etc.  Those who have lived enough to see both the versions of ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ they will notice a very pleasant similarity.  It is nothing but the contribution by Brahmanandam.  They will also realize that it was ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ that gave the break in Brahmu’s film career.

Raghu Kunche, who excelled so far as a singer did his first attempt as music director for Puri Jagannath’s brother, Sairam Shankar’s film ‘Bumper Offer’. His contribution to the song ‘Ravanamma’ in ‘Bumper Offer’ elevated him to fame. It was well received by the movie lovers and critics and has also garnered award nominations. Now he got a chance to fine tune his musical skills in this film also.  The songs in ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ which were released recently portray his decent work.

Much before the Tollywood could miss the absence of Rajendra Prasad, the film community should thank Late EVV Satyanarayana for giving a very valuable alternative in the form of Allari Naresh.  With the title ‘Allari’, Naresh has so far lived upto the expectations of the audience, especially his fans who hail from all walks of life.  It is a strong expectation that Allari Naresh will not disappoint through this movie ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ that is releasing on March 2nd, the auspicious Shiva Ratri day.
