Sekhar Kammula along with his technical team is back, after ‘Leader’.  When it comes to Sekhar Kammula’s films, there is high anticipation from the movie lovers.  Hence they are  most looking forward to watch his forth-coming movie ‘Life Is Beautiful’, releasing on September 14th.  LIB was written, directed and produced by Sekhar Kammula under his home banner Amigos Creations’.

Kammula has a knack of creating characters inspired by real life characters.  That’s how his stories accomplish maximum emotional impact and audience connection.  This time Kammula travels back in time to his young age to portray small-small pleasures on the big screen like street cricket, festivals, family gatherings, romances, colony fights and neighbourhood relations which the middle class

people experience in their life journey. ‘Life is Beautiful’ is a family drama about six youngsters, set in the beautiful nostalgic world of a working-middle class neighbourhood.

Shriya Saran, Amala Akkineni and Anjala Zaveri star in this feel good family entertainer along with some new faces, Abhijeet Duddala, Sudhakar Komakula, Kaushik, Shagun, Zara Shah and Rashmi Shashtry.

‘Life Is Beautiful’ would be a wonderful start for Amala Akkineni, who is returning back to films after more than two decades.  The audience would be glad to see her on screen again.  Similarly, Telugu audience remember Anjala Zaveri as heroine of blockbuster films like ‘Preminchukundam Ra’, ‘Choodalani Vundi’ and ‘Samasimha Reddy’, since she did very few Telugu films. However she is playing guest roles once in a while and so in this film too.  Yet another popular actress playing a key role in LIB is Shriya Saran, who was busy in Telugu until 2005, later shifted her focus on Tamil films to carve out fresh path in her career.  Nevertheless Shriya has been making her presence felt in Telugu films either through cameo roles or by doing one or two films once in a while from then onwards.

Now about the new star cast, Sekhar Kammula’s films will always be a good platform for new comers to exhibit their skills. In this line ‘Life Is Beautiful’ is most likely to be a promising start for these new comers.

Kammula’s films, which are typical adaptation of real life situations, were noted for their realism.  At this juncture music and camera play a vital role in setting the mood of the film. Talented music composer Mickey J Meyer has teamed up with the filmmaker for the third consecutive time after delivering musical hit like ‘Happy Days’ and  a moderate hit like ‘Leader’.  In LIB too, there are six beautiful tracks for which lyrics were written by Ananth Sriram and Vanamali, while the songs were crooned by Karthik, Sreeman Chandra, KK, Naresh Iyer, Sashikiran and Sravana Bhargavi.  Radio Mirchi held the music premiere of the album for the public hearing, which is first of its kind in Telugu cinema.  All Kammula’s films had Vijay C Anand as cinematographer.  So, one can simply imagine his finest workmanship in ‘Life Is Beautiful’. The stills and posters released on the net makes LIB appeal to target not just a section of audience, but people from all walks of life.
