With ‘Khatha Meeta’ making its worst ever performance in box office at Bollywood, the much talked about Bollywood debut of the south sensation Trisha seems to be on a shaky wicket. Trisha betted heavily on her abilities to shine in Bollywood and was so confident that ‘Khatta Meeta’ would give her a very good break. But with its failure such hopes came to an end.
While she started concentrating back on southern projects, there came a savior in Gautham Menon who gave hits through ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ and its Tamil version ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaayo’ wanted to do its remake in Hindi also and opted for Trisha in lead role. Incidentally Trisha was the heroine for the Tamil version.
Trisha did not want to loose this opportunity and hence was waiting for the shooting to kick of thus avoiding any other opportunities coming from down south. But as luck would have it, the project has got delayed endlessly. So it seems Trisha had to accept some other offers and finally when Gautham Menon’s request came for the dates she had to cut a sorry figure. Now the news is that a new face Amy Jackson of ‘Madarasipattanam’ fame has filled in the void thus ceiling the fate of Trisha forever. Well, is there one more Asin in the making?
