Varun Sandesh and Sanchita Padukone and Catherine starrer ‘Chammak Challo’ directed by national award winner Neelakanta is getting ready for release during 2013 Sankranthi. The film is produced by master Bujjibabu under Sri Sailendra Movies banner with D S Rao as presenter. The unit is currently busy with post production works and it has reached the final leg of shooting.

Director Neelakanta claims ‘Chammak Challo’ as a feel good love story. It’s all about the feelings of love that reflects today’s youth. The entire story is on the college backdrop which the director is trying to show it in a new angle. Varun Sandesh is sporting a new look in this film. Brahmaji is playing the role of hero’s father. Other prominent actors are Srinivas Avasarala, Shayaji Shinde, Chinmayee, Vennela Kishore, Surekha Vani, etc. Kiran Varanasi is providing the music, Ananth Sriram wrote lyrics for all the songs, Ranganath Gogineni handles the camera, Nagireddy the editing part, Babji designed the sets, Rama-the costumes, story, dialogues, screenplay and direction by Neelakanta.
