In the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput's death, many celebs have been coming out in open and telling about their bad experiences in the film industry. Poonam Kaur referred to a 'influential director' in Telugu film industry as 'Guruji' and made some sensational comments against him.
Poonam said that the director, who initially promised that he would be there to help her if she is in need even at midnight had later turned volte-face when she was facing a problem and said that she would be a news item for just one day when she told him of her suicidal thoughts. She said that the director is 'sick and manipulative' and not a 'Guruji'. She even said that the director has used his influence to defame her. '
Poonam added that the director has manipulated his friend's life for his benefit and stopped him from "getting back to his very loving wife". "The star gets abused today because of you coming between them. Children suffered, he suffered, he still suffers", she said, adding, "I'm startled with what happened with Sushant Singh Rajput. I don't want to end up like him".
