'The Motherland', starring Ragini, Kusuri Sneha, Anand Bethi, Peddi Raju and Raj Kumar, is directed by Adi Narayana. The short film comes with the caption 'Live For Nation, Die For Nation'. It's going to stream on Amazon Prime, MX Player and other OTT platforms from January 26.
Speaking about the movie, Ragini said, "I thank the director for this wonderful character. This is the kind of film that this generation needs. There is a very good message about our country in the movie."
Jayalalitha said, "I wish everyone who has acted in the short film all the best." Kusuri Sneha said, "I thank Adi Narayana garu for this opportunity."
The director-producer said, "Sixteen years ago, I gunned down the militants of Pakistan on the border as a soldier. We fought them all through the night. I was a red cap commando. I thank everyone for joining me on this project."
