Hindi filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is known for pathbreaking movies in Bollywood, is rooting for 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram'. In his latest interview, the 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' and 'Black Friday' maker commented that 'RRR' enjoys huge popularity in the world of Hollywood.
"The film has a 99% chance of actually getting nominated to the Oscars if India sends the film as its entry," Kashyap, who is known for dramas like 'Manmarziyaan' and 'Mukkabaaz', told a website.
He added that many in the West have loved 'RRR' immensely.
In the interview, he also opined that Bollywood filmmakers should make films with originality. "When you watch 'RRR', you can say it has come from Rajamouli. Same with 'Pushpa'; you clearly see Sukumar all over it. Bollywood has ceased to empower outsiders. That's not the case in southern film industries," Kashyap said.
