Remember model-turned-actress Neha Sharma of 'Chirutha' fame? The beauty was seen opposite Ram Charan in the latter's maiden venture. In fact, it was her debut film as well. She later did a little-known Telugu film and bid goodbye to Tollywood. Neha focused on Bollywood and has had success in bits and pieces.
Her father, Ajit Sharma, has been associated with the Congress Party. He represents the Bhagalpur Assembly Constituency in Bihar. In his latest statement, Sharma indicated that his daughter might be given a Congress ticket from Bihar for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Saying that Bhagalpur constituency is a Congress stronghold, he added that talks regarding seat-sharing are ongoing with fellow INDI Alliance partners. "If we get this seat, it is up to the party’s high command to take a call on who can contest. If the party asks me, I will contest or maybe my daughter Neha Sharma might contest from this constituency," Ajit Sharma said.
