Upasana Kamineni and Sitara Ghattamaneni have joined the "All Eyes on Rafah" campaign that has been a huge online trend for the past 24 hours. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp have been inundated with the sponsored and orchestrated solidarity campaign meant to express solidarity with Palestinians.
The campaign has witnessed many Bollywood celebrities participating in it. The Mumbai-based film celebs were the first to join the movement from India, considering that they are more English-savvy and therefore could be got in touch with by publicists. The movement took time to reach Hyderabad, though. Fortunately, Kushitha Kallapu has also joined the campaign, becoming a pioneer among Telugu influencers.
Netizens are proud of the awareness of the young Sitara, who may be barely in her teens but has full knowledge of the import of the Israel-Palestine conflict. Kushitha, known for her intellectual pursuits and academic rigour, must also be appreciated.
