Jani Master's wife, Ayesha (Sumalatha is her original name), spoke to a TV channel after her husband's arrest. She alleged that a conspiracy is afoot to drag down Jani Master, especially because he won a National Award recently.
"That girl's (referring to the victim) only aim is to reach the top position in her craft. It was Jani who encouraged her when he spotted her in a dance reality show. She has tasted luxuries and wants more of it. Whenever she wore short clothes, Jani Master prodded her to wear full clothes. She sobs a lot and is a drama queen. Anybody would take her words at face value," Ayesha added.
"That girl is yet to appear in front of the media. She is not showing her face. She has affairs with some dancers," Ayesha alleged. "She always tried to get close to Jani Master. She would demand the same comforts and amenities that producers provide to Jani Master," Ayesha said.
