Unverified media reports suggest that Posani Krishna Murali will soon be hosting a political satire show for his favourite unbiased news channel, Sakshi TV. The show will primarily target and satirize the current TDP-led government in Andhra Pradesh.
For years, Posani batted hysterically for Jagan Mohan Reddy. He blasted Chandrababu Naidu at the first opportunity, made grotesque remarks about certain political leaders, and abused Pawan Kalyan in street language. He has been unofficially boycotted by many production houses.
Posani had an egg on his face when the YSRCP got trounced recently. He is now making a comeback, now that the current dispensation is months-old. Also, Jagan needs the sympathies of someone like Posani, the motormouth serial abuser of all and sundry.
As recently as in May this year, Posani accused Chiranjeevi of being a sellout. "His Praja Rajyam Party won 18 seats in the 2009 Assembly elections. Just three weeks after saying that his MLAs were not on sale, he himself merged his party with the Congress. As a reward, he was made a Minister of State. Did he stick to politics even after that? No. Once his term was over, he quit politics," Posani said.
