My 10 Years Hard Work And Effort Has Paid Off - Gnan Prakash

Having great passion on films, Gnan Prakash left his good job and salary in JNTU and entered into the film industry to seek a career in acting. Since 10 years he is not getting right opportunities. Even though, he got support from his parents in the starting days, later on they stared giving presser to him to leave the trials. Still he has some hope deep inside. Without losing his confidence, he is trying his best since 10 years to appear on screen and convincing his parents. And finally his dream to become an actor came true through the film ‘Nenostha’. He won critical acclaims with his first film itself. Recently released ‘Nenostha’ has earned fame to him and on this occasion, an interview has been given by the actor Gnan Prakash. Here are the excerpts:

Please introduce yourself?
My parents, who are from Anantapur, have settled in Hyderabad when I was a kid. I did Btech from JNTU and started doing job in the same institute. But, my passion to become an actor has grabbed me to the film industry. I started my trials in the film industry in the year 20002. I also worked as an assistant director for some time. I did few ads even.

Have you taken any training on acting?
I did theater arts course in central university. That experience helped me now. I also have learned Kung-Fu fighting. I am taking training on daces as well.

We would like to hear from you about the response that got for the film?
The film has got very good response from all areas. I played psycho role in the film. My role has received applause and received appreciations from critics as well saying that my body language, dialogue delivery and performance is wonderful. My performance has received good reviews from critics on websites noting, “Gnan Prakash has taken the entire film on his shoulders and has given his best.” It has given me immense happiness. My 10 years hard work and effort has paid off through this.
