Yes. I loved the film, when I saw it for the first time. The concept of a middle-aged bachelor, his family and love life was something that we have not seen before. Moreover, I felt that this is something that will suit me.
How was it working with Rahul Raveendran?
I saw his work in Chi La Sow. It was impressive. I was confident that he will execute this film in a right way. You must see how he has shown family emotions in this film.
The Censor Board has not been kind to you...
The swear words were there for a purpose. One has to see the film to judge it. I am sure that the audience will love it.

She is a lovely actress and looks great. Fitness is something that she loves. It was great working with her. Some rumours were there that I was not okay with her being in the film. That's untrue.
Does the film have high voltage comedy?
Yes it does. What Brahmanandam did in Mandmadhudu, is done by Vennela Kishore in this one.
There has been noise about you getting overtly romantic in this film?
There is romance and it is sensible one. Nothing gross. It is a funny, family film.
Will there be a sequel to Soggade?
Yes that's on cards. But there is small halt with it now. That is because Kalyan Krishna's brother passed away and he needed sometime. Meanwhile I have got busy with Bigg Boss.
Tell us about Brahmastra?
I just loved that script. Karan Johar is making this film. It is a three part series. This film have some key characters who will repeat in the series.
What happened to the film with Dhanush?
We shot for it for 35 days and now it has been shelved. I have no clue why. Dhanush informed me about it.
Looks like Akhil has not been lucky?
I am not worried. He is young and will make it big. Chay did it, I did it as well. Same with him. Let's give him time.
