'Iddari Lokam Okate', starring Raj Tarun and Shalini Pandey in the leads and presented by Dil Raju is going to release on 25th December. Produced by Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, this movie has been directed by G.R.Krishna. Raj Tarun has talked about the film and his career in this interview.
Pure Love Story
'Iddari Lokam Okate' is a pure love story. It's not a mix of various genres. You will see only throughout the film. It's inspired from a Turkish movie and some changes have been made so as to suit our nativity. After preparing the script, producer Bekkem Venugopal and director GR Krishna met me and asked me to watch 'Love Likes Coincidences'. I watched it and loved it. Then they narrated the script to me. I was happy when I got to know that Dil Raju garu will involve in the production
Out of the world
The last 30 minutes of the film will be extraordinary and out of the world. We have taken so much care that the 'feel' in the original will not be missed. This is my second remake after 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam'.
Didn't work out
My last couple of movies didn't do well. So, I decided to take a gap between films. Meanwhile, I went to Tirupati to fulfill my mokku. I've listened to many scripts in the mean time and decided to do this movie.
Learnt it
I've learnt a lot from my past mistakes. I decided to take care of every aspect. There would be a reason behind every failure. Though the script is good, sometimes we might make mistakes during the process of making. So, they fail. I will take the final call regarding the scripts. I don't take opinions. I switch off my mobile on the release day. I read the reviews in the evening
Shalini is fantastic
Shalini Pandey is a fantastic performer. Her role in this movie is very different compared to her previous films. She is very energetic and performed with a lot of ease. GR Krishna's conviction impressed me. He gives a lot of freedom to artistes and brings out what he wants.
Subtle
My roles in the love stories I did so far are hyper and loud. But my performance in this movie will be very subtle.
Next projects
Currently I'm doing 'Dream Girl' remake, a film in Annapurna Studios, directed by Srinivas Gavireddy and 'Orey Bujjigaa'. A film in GA2 Pictures banner is also in discussion. I will reveal the details soon.
