Nabha Natesh Exclusively talks about 'Maestro',working Experience with Nithiin, why the movie is special in terms of the monies it is minting, and more.

Q. How did you feel when you were offered to act in Maestro?
A.
Given the fact that Hindi's Andhadhun was such a movie, I was just so excited when I got a chance to act in thr Telugu remake of it. The whole Indian film industry was awestruck with the kind of content and the acting Andhadhun had catered. To act in the remake of such a big movie is not a small opportunity.

Q. Did you worry about how you would fit in the role in Maestro?
A.
I was a bit nervous. Radhika Apte's characteristic development was quite bold. So, to portray that I was a bit apprehensive. I had to unlearn a few things and tried not to get influenced by anything else.

Q. How was it working with Nithiin?
A.
Nithiin is exceptional. We started shooting soon after the first wave of the pandemic and we had a hard time facing all the anxieties related to the pandemic. But, working with Nithiin and team was such a blissful experience. I think our chemistry also worked out together.

Q. Are you upset about the OTT release of Maestro?
A. I am sure these kinds of movies need a theatrical release. Because, the sound, the real cinematic experience is lost, if not watched at the theaters. But, we are in such vulnerable times and I have accepted the fact.

Q. What are the changes made to the original content when compared to Maestro?
A.
The director has tried to portray his angle of this story. So, there are changes. Even my role is quite different from the original movie. Director has made it with nativity as the main aspect.

Q. How exciting is it to do a remake?
A. As this is the first remake for me, I am not sure how the audience are going to receive it. I'm a bit nervous and also excited.

Q. Do you watch all the OTT releases?
A.
Of course. What do you think I did during the lockdown? I kept watching Indian, English, Spanish, and other content. Korean series and movies also. I watch a lot of them.

Q. You speak Telugu and it is good to hear you learning it more. Haven't you planned to dub for yourself?
A.
I tried. But, we had a very little time for that. Due to travel restrictions and all, it didn't happen.

Q. How do you face Covid related anxieties?
A.
It was so hard for me to start working. But, we were the first few people to start shooting after the first wave. I was scared. But, slowly got used to it. I take so much care and hence can trust to go out to work.

Nabha Natesh also mentioned about her experience working with Tamannaah, Director Merlapaka Gandhi and the other technicians. She seems to be quite confident of Maestro's success.
