Priyanka Chopra, who won the National award for her critically acclaimed role in ‘Fashion’ and also won 3 Filmfare awards so far, says that she does a thorough homework for each of the role she plays before the film goes on the sets so that it’s not much needed to be depended on the director. But the actress claimed that for the first time in her career she simply followed her director Anurag Basu to do the role of a mentally disabled character in ‘Burfi’. According to her to do this role she had to depend completely on the director. She said, “I never felt it hard even to do 7 roles in Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ and 12 roles in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘What’s Your Raashee?’, however to do my role in ‘Burfi’ is very tough and very challenging one.” Other lead stars in the film are Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana.
