With Padmasri Shivaji Ganeshan’s grandson Jr Shivaji Ganeshan as hero a Tamil film ‘Singhakutty’ is now being dubbed into Telugu as ‘Chiruta Puli’. The tagline of this film is ‘From Madhurai’. The film has three heroines – Gauri Munjal (Bunny heroine), Malavika’ and Priya. A Venkatesh directed the film under Pranathi Creations banner. Kunireddy Srinivas is now presenting the same in Telugu. The censor formalities have been completed and the film got clean ‘U’ certificate.
Producer Kunireddy Srinivas said, “The censor board members appreciated ‘Chiruta Puli’ by saying that the film has good story and screenplay besides the artists performance being very natural. We are going to release the film 11.11.11 with 100 prints across the state. The film is about a young police officer who chooses between his own mother and his motherland. The story is on Madurai backdrop. We are confident that the songs and the movie will be as big hit as in Tamil.”
