T Subbarami Reddy’s Lalitha Kala Parishad is planning to have a two day felicitation function on September 24th at Vizag. On this occasion a press meet was organised at Hotel Taj Krishna to brief its details. Dr T Subbarami Reddy, Smt P Suseela, Sandhya, Parachuri Brothers and Saloori Vasudeva Rao participated.
T Subbarami Reddy said, “We launched Lalitha Kala Parishad last November with the intention of exposing our culture and traditions across the state. So far we have started the branches in Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Hyderabad. The Vizag zone will be launched on 24th of this month. We will shortly begin in Warangal, Nalgonda and Khammam districts and even making efforts to start in Eluru, Ongole and Rajahmundry. PCC President Botsa
Satyanarayana will inaugurate the Visaka zone. In this launching event Dr D Ramanaidu, State Ministers M Mahidhar Reddy, Balaraju, MLAs like Ganta Srinivas Rao, M Vijay Prasad, MLC Rehaman and Vizag Mayor P Janardhan Rao will participate. Similarly we have also started this Parishad all over India the Telugu crowd exists.”
Speaking further he said, “P Suseela garu was felicitated recently by this Parishad. P Suseela garu is going to give Rs 20 lakhs to this trust and S Janaki will enthrall the audience with her sangeeth kacheri. On the same day Dr Brahmanandam will be felicitated with ‘Haasya Kalavidhata’ award as well as will be complimented with Swarnakanttabharanam. Apart from that, we are also going to honor Chandra Mohan, Giribabu, Tanikella Bharani, Saikumar, Naresh, L B Sriram, AVS, Chalapathy Rao, Jayaprakash Reddy, Uttej, Kondavalasa, Krishna Bhagawan, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Ravi Babu, Raghu Babu, Ragini, Priya, Kavitha, Geetanjali and Prabha.”
P Suseela said, “I’m planning to start the P Suseela trust in Hyderabad soon. When I shared my idea of giving Rs 1 lakh to S Janaki garu as an award, he immediately gave the cheque of Rs 1 lakh. He also celebrated my rajathothsavam grandly and rendered his help to my trust. I’m rendering financial help of Rs 2,000/- each every month to 50 artists. In this regard we are planning a program every year. This year also we are planning to do by the year end. I got the idea of forming this trust only after I received the Padmabhushan award. T Subbarami Reddy garu recommended my name for the Padmabhushan award. I’m very happy to note that Brahmanandam is going to be awarded. I’m always grateful for Subbarami Reddy garu for felicitating me.”
Parachuri Gopalakrishna said, “T Subbarami Reddy garu has passion for arts. He started this programme with the intention of encouraging arts in all the districts across the state. The branches will be opened in Telangana region also shortly. He is spending money without any limitations. His main intention is to expose the rich culture of Telugu. P Suseela garu was felicitated by him recently and we were also felicitated. Our brother Brahmanandam is going to receive Haasya Kalavidhata award. We wish him to serve the public like this for many more years.”
Parachuri Venkateswara Rao said, “We were also invited for the inauguration function of Vizag zone. It is appreciable that Subbarami Reddy garu is planning an auditorium in every district. There is a reason for implementing the world’s prestigious Noble prize. However Subbarami Reddy garu has implemented this programme only with the passion for arts. I wish him to serve the arts throughout his life.”
Saloori Vasudeva Rao said, “Many singers are born due to this parishad. This kind of parishad will always cause good for singers like us. We did an album with singer like Bhagavathy which will be released shortly. There are few new singers in every programme which is really helping many.”
