Allari Naresh’s socio-fantasy film in Yamalokam backdrop is being directed by E Satti Babu and produced by Chanti Addala on Friendly Movies banner. In this film, a fresh face Richa Panai plays the daughter of Yama while Ramya Krishna will be seen as Yama’s wife. Sources claim that the title ‘Yamudiki Mogudu’ is being considered for the film as the makers feel that it aptly suits the story. But the makers are yet to confirm it officially.
The 1988 ‘Yamudiki Mogudu’ stars Megastar Chiranjeevi, Vijayashanti, Radha, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Late Sri Allu Ramalingaiah in lead roles and was directed by Ravi Raja Pinisetty.
In this Allari Naresh’s rib tickling comedy entertainer the audience will get to enjoy Chiranjeevi’s popular number ‘Atto Attamma Kutura’ from ‘Alluda Mazaka’ in remixed form which was recently canned on Allari Naresh, Richa Panai and Ramya Krishna in Ramoji Film City.
In a press meet organised in Hyderabad, producer Chanti Addala, director E Satti Babu, Allari Naresh and music director Koti spoke to the media. According to producer, so far many films have come in the Yamalokam backdrop but for the first time director Satti Babu has come out with a different concept of how a human family from Bhoolokam meets Yama family at Yamalokam and forms relationship."
E Satti Babu said, “The story of the film is how a young guy changes the fate of his family with his fate written by Brahma. It’s an out and out entertainer. The film will showcase why and how the hero goes to Yamalokam and tortures Yama. We have erected Yama Durbar set, Brindavanam, Indralokham and Brahmalokam sets and shot the film extensively on these sets. We have so far completed three schedules in which we covered Yamalokam scenes and climax scenes. Our next schedule will begin in East Godavari district. We are planning to shoot a song at Godavari banks on a specially erected set. The talkie part will be completed in this schedule which will be held from August 11 to 25. Later a song involving 500 children and their parents will be shot in an auditorium from September 1st to 5th. It’s a climax song and is going to be the main highlight of the film. The remaining songs will be shot abroad.”
Allari Naresh said, “When I heard the story, initially I felt that the budget would be high. But the producer was adamant of making this film since he is returning back to the industry after 5 years. I’m very impressed with the finest work of art director Kiran.”
Music director Koti said, “I did many films in Friendly Movies combination. And I’m glad to see producer Chanti returning back with a good project after 5 years. There is a good scope for music in this film. I was missing EVV garu a lot. But now the Allari Naresh and Satti Babu combination is giving me the feel of doing an EVV garu’s film. I’m very happy to work with one such wonderful team. I wish Chanti garu a grand success for the film and wish to see him produce more good films in the near future.”
