Salman Khan’s ‘Wanted’ directed by Prabhu Deva is the remake of Mahesh Babu-Puri Jagannath’s sensational hit film ‘Pokiri’. The film was a big hit in Hindi as well. Recently the media reports indicated that Prabhu Deva is intending to do the sequel for ‘Wanted’ with Shahid Kapoor as male lead. However, Shahid denied rumours that he would appear in ‘Wanted’ sequel, stating that he has no guts to do so as no one can replace
Salman Khan in the film. He also confirmed saying that the cause for such rumours is due to his frequent meeting with
Prabhu Deva of late. According to Shahid, he is presently busy in promoting his new film ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’, releasing on June 22nd. The film stars Priyanka Chopra and him in the lead and is directed by Kunal Kohli.
