Natural Star Nani has revealed that Meiyazhagan (Sathyam Sundaram in Telugu) is one of his most favourite movies of the decade. Speaking to a Tamil media house, the actor commented that nobody can recreate the film's magical experience no matter how many grand sets they might erect.
"You can spend thousands of crores, you can do everything that is appreciated, but Meiyazhagan will remain a classic," Nani said.
Starring Karthi and Arvind Swami in lead roles, the movie was released in theatres last year.
Telugu movie buffs feel that a Meiyazhagan-type narrative should be made with Victory Venkatesh and Nani. Ten or fifteen years back, Meiyazhagan would have been remade in Telugu with Telugu heroes.
Nani awaits the release of HIT 3 on May 1st. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film is a crime thriller with music by Mickey J Meyer. Srinidhi Shetty is its female lead.
