Theaters have remained closed for more than a month due to corona virus pandemic and the makers of many movies are mulling a direct release on OTT platforms. 'Amrutharamam' has become the first Telugu movie to have such a release.
'Amrutharamam', directed by Surender Kontaddi and starring Ram Mittakanti, Amitha Ranganath, will release on Zee5 App on 29th April. The makers say that the film is all about a girl, who yearns for love and the struggle she faces for her lover will be heart-touching.
