Bombhaat is a Telugu language Film produced by Vishwas Hannurkar under the Suchetha DreamWorks Productions banner, and Directed by debutant I. Raghavendra Varma s/o Sunil Varma (Aathma Bandham, President gari Alludu, etc)
The film intends to explore the rare, yet exciting genre - Comic Science Fiction. The story while being quirky in itself has given birth to much quirkier and interesting characters that are potrayed by some fine actors like Sushant, Simran Choudhary, Chandini Chowdary, Priyadarshi, Makarand Deshpande. While the film through out maintains a comic tone, it also has strong elelements of Romance and Suspense with sparkles of Sci-Fi interwoven with each other.
After the initial idea was concieved, director Raghavendra Varma had penned down the entire script in a couple of months under the guidance of his mentor and legendary director K Raghavendra Rao B.A. And with no further delay the producer, Vishwas Hannurkar decided to bankroll it and set up everything for the shoot and provided the Director with a perfect team for the project.
Senior editor Gautham Raju edited the Film. While the music of the film is composed by Josh B, Sateesh Menthem as the Cinematograoher and Srikanth Ramisetty as the Art director have brought life to the world of Bombhaat. Dialouges are written by Akshay Poolla.
Music legend M M Keeravani lent his voice for a song is one of the noteworthy points to mention. Lyrics have been penned down by Ramajogayya Sastry, Gangothri Vishwanada Sastry, Ramanjaneyulu, and Suddala Ashok Teja. Sunitha Sarathy, Sharanya Srinivas, Karthik, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Nakul Abhyankar, Chandana Bala Kalyan, Harini Ivaturi, Master Rahul Vellal, Yazin Nazar, Aditya Rao, Vinod Krishnan, and Padmalatha Ramanand sang the beautiful songs of the movie.
Dance Master Yashwant and Raj Krishna choreographed the Movie songs.
Most of the Movie shooting was done in & around Hyderabad city, and some in Araku, Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. Movie poster was launched by Action Director Puri Jagannadh, and the 3 Lyrical songs were released by Director Anil Ravipudi, Music Director Thaman, and Director Maruthi.
The film also casts Tanikella Bharani, Shishir Sharma, Vineet Kumar, Hema, Fish Venkat in major roles.
