Shalini Kandukuri is the girl whom Nithin will be getting married to. He says that his love story is not filmy at all. Nithin has known Shalini for eight years. They met through a common friend. What started as friendship turned into love five years ago. Neither of them tried to impress the other. It all just fell into place perfectly.
Nithin wanted his proposal to be different. He stood on one leg and proposed Shalini. She laughed and said yes. It was a funny memorable moment.
Nithin says that since both were busy with their careers, it took so long. But they knew that they are made for each other. Both families were told once they decided and there was no opposition.
There will be a pre-wedding function on Feb 15 at Nithin's residence. The engagement will be on April 15 and the wedding on April 16. Both will happen in Dubai. It will be a family affair.
