Hotstar specials and director Neeraj Pandej of 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' fame have collaborated for 'Special Ops, an international spy thriller. The show, which is based on events of national significance, marks the digital debut of Neeraj Pandey. It will be shot at major international locations across countries including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Jordan and India
Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair will co-direct this show. Neeraj and Shital Bhatia will produce it for Friday Storytellers- the digital arm of Friday Filmworks. Neeraj Pandey, Deepak Kingrani and Benazir Ali Fida have written it.
Neeraj Pandey said that they have "tried to recreate real-life incidents that have somewhere affected our lives over the past few years". He added that it will be a gripping plot and audiences will follow the intriguing story till the end.
