Padma Sri Allu Ramalingaiah's birth centenary celebrations are ongoing. They will end on October 1, 2021. In this regard, writer C Srikanth Kumar has been given away an award for penning the biography of Ramalingaiah way back in 2010. Allu Aravind, participating in a cyber conference, on Monday said that the author of the book had interacted with the legendary actor for six years. "He wrote the biography with love and knowledge," Aravind observed.
R Swamy Naidu of Chiranjeevi Blood Bank participated in the event. Padma Sri Dr. Turlapati Kutumba Rao and others recalled their association with the late veteran emotionally. Dr. Samaram recalled that a visit to his residence in Vijayawada way back in 2004 sadly turned out to be Allu's last one.
The cyber event was also attended by a number of old associates of Ramalingaiah.
