'Pelli Sandadi', directed by K Raghavendra Rao, was a huge blockbuster. Released on 12 January 1996, it has turned 25. Produced by C Aswini Dutt and Allu Aravind, the film starred Srikanth, Ravali and Deepthi Bhatnagar in lead roles.
Sharing his happiness, KRR has said that the film will always be remembered in the history of Telugu cinema. "It will always be a very special film for me and Srikanth. Keeravani's music and the production values were great," the 'Darsakendrudu' added.
A sequel to the film, titled 'Pelli SandaD' is currently being made with Roshan (Srikanth's son) and Sri Leela as the lead pair. KRR is its directorial supervisor. Gouri is the director.
