Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh are now raring to make a mark in Bollywood with their pan-India project. The title of the film was finalized last year, but an official announcement has been made only today. Titled 'Liger', it comes with the tagline 'Saala Crossbreed'.
Produced by Puri Connects and Dharma Productions, this one has Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey as the female lead. The 'Arjun Reddy' actor is seen sporting thick and long hair and is seen as a boxer. Explaining the title, the makers say that Liger is a zoo-bred hybrid, as is the tigon, which is the result of mating a male tiger with a female lion.
To be released on a grand scale, this one has cinematography by Vishnu Sarma. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makrand Deshpande and 'Get-up' Srinu are part of the cast. The film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. With Art Direction by Jonny Shaik Basha, its editing is by Junaid Siddiqui.
