Adivi Sesh who was in the news for his philanthropy a couple of days ago, had installed water purification plant in a hospital at Hyderabad. The 'Major' actor is being appreciated for the generosity at times like this.
Adivi Sesh seems to be proud to share a rare memory of his grandfather. Early today, Adivi Sesh shared a photo of the certificate his grandfather had received during the freedom fight. The paper certifies Adivi Sesh's grandfather as a receiver of ' Tamarapatra' a honour for his services during the freedom fight. Adivi Sesh's grandfather Adavi Gangaraju had received this honour dated on 15-8-1973 for his endeavours from Eluru town of united Andhra Pradesh.
Also, the actor has an explanation on how their surname evolved from 'Adavi' to 'Adivi'.
"Interesting to note that people in my family up until my dads generation wrote #Adivi and #Adavi interchangeably. Only in my generation did people fix on #Adivi permanently", Adivi Sesh wrote.
