Ram Gopal Varma has announced the release of 'D Company' directly on OTT. The gangster flick, starring unknown actors, will stream on Spark OTT from May 15.
The OTT platform has been launched jointly by RGV and a friend by the name of Sagar. After 'D Company', more is expected to come from the OTT platform, which is going to use the pay-per-view model.
Last year, RGV had launched RGV World Theatre, which didn't have the spark in it. After a few flops, he seems to be trying to refurbish his style of marketing.
'D Company' will tell the story of Dawood Ibrahim's rise.
