On the occasion of his birthday today, Superstar Krishna took to planting saplings at his Nanakramaguda residence as part of the Green India Challenge, which is an initiative of Rajya Sabha MP J Santosh Kumar.
"It gave me immense pleasure that you (Krishna) have planted a sapling marking your birthday, which would enthuse your huge fanfare and others to adopt the social cause," the MP wrote.
Speaking on the occasion, the legendary actor said that it's the responsibility of everyone to protect the environment.
He lauded the MP for taking up the noble mission of greening the environment. Krishna said that he has planted saplings in the past as well. He wished Santosh Kumar all the best on the occasion.
