Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is playing a thief in 'Stuartpuram Donga', whose First Look was unveiled today, marking Diwali. A biopic of ‘Tiger’ Nageswara Rao (a daredevil thief of Stuartpuram in the 1970s), the film is touted to be a stylish action thriller.
Since the film is set in a bygone era, the 'Rakshasudu' and 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka' star has undergone a transformation. "The scenes in the film will be about his intelligence and how cleverly Tiger would escape from jail often," a source says.
For his 10th movie, the 'Alludu Seenu' actor is sporting a thick beard.
Directed by KS, who worked under VV Vinayak in the past, the film is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on Sree Lakshmi Narasimha Productions. Written by the Vennelakanti Brothers, the film has music by Mani Sharma. Shyam K Naidu is cranking the camera. AS Prakash is its art director.
