JD Chakravarthy has turned a year older today. Marking the occasion, we hereby list his upcoming releases across languages and formats. All of them but one are feature films.
Telugu: ‘Breaking News’ is JD's upcoming movie here. It is produced by Mango Productions. Then there is a film titled ‘The Kiss’.
Hindi: The actor is doing 'Ek Villain 2', which is a thriller. JD has also bagged a film starring the versatile Bollywood star Ayushman Khurana. Then there is a film titled 'Dahini', which is directed by Rajesh Touchriver. Tanishtha Chatterjee is its heroine.
In Hindi, JD is also doing a web series made by Sony Pictures in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video.
Tamil: The 'Money' actor has bagged a crucial role in 'Curry', which is bankrolled by Singham Film Production. Headlined by Sasikumar, the project is said to be quite promising. 'Pattarai' is his another film in Kollywood.
Kannada: JD is doing a film titled ‘Prem’, besides a concept-based outing titled 'WHO'.
Malayalam: A couple of movies are on the anvil.
JD is open to exploring the OTT space. In an interview last year, he said, "OTT is a promising platform. OTT has proven that experimental movies can be released without fearing whether commercial prospects will be strong or weak. OTTs are several in number and the options have only increased."
