'Liger' couldn't have asked for a better beach song. 'Aafat', shot on Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, has composer Tanishk Bagchi follow a specific tuning to get everything right. Crooned by Simha and Sravana Bhargavi, the song is choreographed by Piyush and Shazia.
If 'Akdi Pakdi' was boisterous and 'Waat Laga Denge' was not a typical song, 'Aafat' is a proper dance number. No wonder Deverakonda has described it as the most electric song of the year. "Feel the sizzling young fiery chemistry," wrote Puri Connects.
'Aafat', despite being a beach song, begins with a word of advice delivered by the hero's mother, played by Ramya Krishna.
The Puri Jagannadh-directed film is heading to theatres on August 25 in multiple languages (read Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam).
