Telangana Minister Malla Reddy is the latest VIP to leverage Allu Arjun's popularity to make an aggressive point. Recently, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh used a punchline from 'Pushpa' during his election campaign in Uttarakhand. He used the title of the film to promote the BJP CM candidate, Pushkar Singh Dhami.
In the latest instance, Malla Reddy, addressing a gathering of TRS workers the other day, said that Gulabi (referring to TRS' party colour) is not a flower but fire. While saying it, the Minister recreated the 'hand movement' mannerism aced by Bunny in the Sukumar directorial. At this, the women who were sitting in the front row broke into laughter and enjoyed the imitation.
'Pushpa', co-starring Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine, has been a pan-India hit.
