On Tuesday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Instagram handle saw an unexpected post. A pic of Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao was posted with an accompanying message. The message said that people are his greatest strength.
Many were confused and before they knew, the post was deleted. Netizens started speculating that some mischievous element must have hacked the actress' Insta handle.
Later, Samantha's manager issued a statement saying that the post was the result of a technical glitch. “Due to a technical glitch, a post on Instagram got erroneously cross-posted on Samantha’s account. We are working on the case and shall escalate the same with team Instagram. Apologies for any confusion caused," the manager wrote.
It's presumed that the social media handles of both Samantha and the TRS leader are being handled by the same Public Relations agency. An employee at the agency got confused and thought that he/she was posting on KTR's page. After realizing the mistake, the post was deleted.
