'Recce', starring Sriram and Siva Balaji in key roles, is the title of Zee5's upcoming web series. Come June 17, the OTT platform is going to stream the 7-episode series.
Scripted and directed by Poluru Krishna, the series is a period drama also starring Dhanya Balakrishna, Aadukulam Naren, Rekha, Saranya Pradeep, Rajashree Nair, Ramaraju, Sameer, Murali and others.
Set in the backdrop of Anantapur, the series is touted to be a realistic one. Factional violence and how it takes a toll on the lives of foot soldiers is going to be the main element of the story.
"Leni, a junior SI, takes up the case of solving a dual murder. These murders have a darker underbelly. It is up to Lenin to solve them," the makers said, talking about the premise.
Sriram Maddury (music), Ram K Mahesh (cinematography), Rambabu (action choreography) and Kumar P Anil (editor) have worked on the series.
