'Suzhal – The Vortex' is the title of an upcoming crime thriller series. An Amazon Prime Video original, its motion poster is out. Touted to be an investigative drama series, it has Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, Sriya Reddy, among others, in key roles.
To be streamed from June 17 in 30 languages (mainly Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, and Turkish), its motion poster was unveiled at the hands of Hindi actor Abhishek Bachchan at an event yesterday. Created by Pushkar and Gayatri, the crime thriller is directed by Bramma and Anucharan M.
What is unique about 'Suzhal - The Vortex'? "The crime thriller that goes beyond the routine investigation and threatens to shake up the cultural societal fabric, when a crime hits a small-town India. Set against the backdrop of a unique micro-festival, ancient myths collide with the troubling present as we are drawn into the eye of the storm," the makers said.
