'Simbaa', touted to be a memory-based biological sci-fi movie, is produced by Sampath Nandi and Rajender Reddy. Directed by newcomer Murali Manohar Reddy, the film went on the floors in August last year. Sampath Nandi has penned it.
Marking World Environment Day, the makers of the film today unveiled Jagapathi Babu's first look from the movie. The senior artist is seen as a forest dweller in 'Simbaa'. We see the 'Son of Nature' bearing trees on his shoulders as he walks on red soil land in a lonely place. There is a hint that Jaggu Bhai's character believes in protecting the environment at all costs.
Coming with the tagline 'The Forest Man', the thriller is said to be message-oriented. Krishna Prasad, Rajeev Nair, Krishna Saurabh, Tammiraju, MS Kumar, Dhani Aelay, Rajamarrisetty, Ram A, Giriraj, Ashwin, Avinash, Sadanandam and Chakravarthi are associated with the movie.
